Stuttgart/Dubai – Mercedes-Benz has received the "Best Bus" award for the fourth year in succession. The award has been presented since 2007 by the Munich-based magazine "Busfahrer" ("Bus Driver"). More than 1000 drivers took part in the readers’ poll.

Daimler Buses has received an order for over 100 Mercedes-Benz Citaro urban buses from the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The 100 vehicles will be supplied from July 2009 and will be used in public transport in the city of Al Ain, which has a population of around 500,000. In addition Daimler Buses and the transportation ministry of Abu Dhabi have signed an agreement for a comprehensive service and maintenance package for the Citaro buses.
