Comprehensive service and maintenance agreement concluded.

A total of 80 Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses have already been in use in Dubai for two years now. With the follow-up order from Abu Dhabi Daimler Buses is further expanding its presence in the growth region of the Middle East. Since 1999 the regional sales office of Daimler Buses based in Dubai has been providing support for the bus business in this region. The current order includes double-door low-floor bus vehicles in the Mercedes-Benz Citaro LE (Low-Entry) model which meets the Euro 4 emissions standard, a large air conditioning system and special insulation to protect against the high exterior temperatures. Due to an explosion in transportation needs the United Arab Emirates, which include Abu Dhabi and Dubai, are increasingly focused on modern transport concepts and are massively expanding the necessary infrastructure. The use of buses in public transport plays an important role in this regard.
